How to Apply
WHERE TO START
Once you have had a chance to look over some of the background information, and you would like to start the application process, please read through the following steps and send in the completed Company Data & Profile forms. This is all the paper work you will be asked to do!
STEP BY STEP
- You have read through the Program Manual and Performance Standards.
- Your business has a ‘registered’ company name.
- You meet the minimum training requirements:
- Best Management Practices – the contractor and one in-woods employee is required to have taken a BMP program recognized by the SFI Provincial Implementation Committees.
- Regulatory Training including Occupational Health & Safety Training, First Aid, TDG & WHMIS.
- You have completed the Company Data & Profile forms.
- To complete the application process, send the completed forms along with the first fee installment to the program ambassador.
FEE SCHEDULE (as of June 9, 2010)

| Field Verification | $1,500.00 | Received prior to first field verification |
| Certification | $1,350.00 | Receieved prior to submission of application to Certification Board |
| Total | $3,850.00 | Certificates will not be issued until all payments are received |
* Plus HST
** Assumes there is no more than one year between initial application and submission of application to Board.
