What a milestone year for Log-A-Load for Kids Canada! Thanks to the incredible support of our members, sponsors, and participants, we raised an impressive $89,312 in 2024 to benefit four of Canada’s Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. From the Caledonia Ball Tournament and Port Hawkesbury Paper Golf Tournament to DEMO International, the Newfoundland Curling Fun Spiel and Saskatchewan BBQ events, communities across the country came together to make a difference. Special initiatives like the “Bury the Truck”, live and silent auctions, and speaker donations at key industry events further fueled our fundraising success. This outpouring of generosity highlights the unwavering commitment of the forestry sector to supporting children’s health.

Log-A-Load For Kids Canada is a national giving campaign that facilitates donations from loggers and forest industry professionals to local Children’s Miracle Network (CMN)-affiliated hospital foundations. Participants can donate the value of a load of logs or raise funds through various events to support the cause.

The Canadian Woodlands Forum (CWF) takes pride in being the national coordinator for Log-A-Load For Kids Canada, ensuring that 100% of all contributions go directly to local CMN Canada hospital foundations.

Since its inception in 2000, Log-A-Load for Kids Canada has achieved remarkable success, raising over $2 million for different children’s hospitals across the country. This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication of numerous volunteers who organize a wide range of fundraising events, both large and small, contributing to the program’s success.

As we celebrate this achievement, we look forward to an even greater impact in 2025—thank you for making a difference!
