The Canadian Woodlands Forum community rallied together in an inspiring year of philanthropy in 2023, both on the ball field and golf course, as well as through various events.
We are thrilled to report that our collective efforts raised an incredible $95,007 for the Log-a-Load for Kids Canada Program, supporting children’s hospital foundations across the country.
Notable contributions include the Caledonia softball tournament and Port Hawkesbury Paper golf tournament, generating $25,700 and $31,100, respectively – simply awesome! Additional funds were raised through diverse events, including the 2023 Spring Meeting live auction, “Bury the Log a Load for Kids truck,” and private donations totaling $16,370.00; donations on behalf of spring and fall meeting speakers ($1,500), Forest Nova Scotia Annual AGM ($1,765), and fundraising events in Saskatchewan for the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital ($18,572). Our cumulative fundraising since the program’s inception in 2000 now stands at an impressive $1,942,567.
Thank you to the Canadian Woodlands Forum community for your unwavering commitment and support, ensuring quality healthcare for our nation’s children. Well done to everyone for your tremendous generosity!
