The Canadian Woodlands Forum (CWF) is the only ‘grass-roots’ forest industry organization providing a network for logging contractors, forest product companies, suppliers and ‘on-the ground’ forestry personnel.
The MISSION of the CWF is to improve the efficiency and profitability of woodlands operations, through an ongoing commitment to fostering communication, providing a means to exchange knowledge of best practices and technology and innovations, and promoting the interests of woodlands professionals and contractors in order to sustain a robust, safe and environmentally responsible wood fiber supply chain.

As a membership-centric organization facilitating networking, information sharing, and engagement, the CWF listens to the needs of its community to provide opportunities for growth. The CWF diversified its revenue streams through various activities, training, and administrative services. This strategic approach not only sustained the organization but also empowered us to continue delivering valued programs, services, and activities throughout the year.
In a strategic move to enhance communication, the Canadian Woodlands Forum (CWF) underwent a transformative upgrade to its website—a well-established portal for information on CWF activities and industry updates. The revamped website aimed to elevate member experience and solidify the CWF brand identity. This overhaul was part of the comprehensive Communications and Marketing Plan, a strategic initiative designed to enhance member communication, streamline recruitment efforts, and elevate overall member engagement.
Furthermore, we are excited to announce the transition to a new membership database platform, aligning with our commitment to efficiency and excellence in serving our members.
